Omar Trinidad fought to a 10-round draw late Saturday night in a featherweight bout for a regional WBC belt at Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California.
Trinidad (19-0-2, 13 KOs), of Los Angeles, battled Venezuela's Lorenzo Parra (23-1-1, 17 KOs) in a matchup scored 95-95 twice. The other judge sided with Trinidad 96-94.

- Mizuki Hiruta (9-0, 2 KOs), in search of a bigger platform training in the U.S., shined in her fifth defense of her WBO super flyweight title against Mexican Naomy Cardenas Gomez, (9-1, 2 KOs) and scored a wide unanimous decision 100-90 twice and 98-92. Hiruta, a southpaw trained by Manny Robles, landed at will and eased to victory.
- Abel Mejia (9-0, 5 KOs), 22-year-old junior lightweight, stopped former world title challenger Aston Palicte, (28-9-1, 23 KOs) in the second round. The Filipino dropped Mejia in the opening stanza only to be overwhelmed with punches in the next frame leading to the stoppage.

- Lupita Medina (11-0, 2 KOs), of Maywood, California, won a split decision in her eight-round bout vs. Mexico’s Rubi Gutierrez (5-3-1). Two judges sided with the 21-year-old, 80-72 and 77-75, while the other scored it 77-75 for Gutierrez.

- Featherweight Angel Carrillo (5-0-1, 2 KOs), of Oxnard, California, dominated Damien Basulto (3-1, 1 KO), of Compton, in a four-round bout by scores of 40-36 (twice) and 39-37.

- Junior lightweight Abraham Morales (2-0, 1 KO) defeated Nesly Trezile (1-4) by unanimous decision. He dropped Trezile in the third en route to scores of 39-36, 39-36 and 38-37.

- Jonathan Vasquez made his pro debut at lightweight, sweeping every round on all of the judges' scorecards (40-36) against Brian Rodriguez who also was in his first pro fight.
